The Buikwe Community Empowerment Center (BCE Center), in partnership with Action for Community Empowerment Buikwe(ACT Buikwe), is dedicated to making education accessible to all. Our School Fees Aid Program is designed to support students and families by easing the financial burden of school fees.

Through a streamlined application process, we assess every family’s unique circumstances to offer tailored financial assistance. Whether you’re facing short-term financial challenges or need ongoing support, our program is here to ensure that every student has the opportunity to thrive and succeed in their education.

Types of Financial Assistance

  1. Scholarships
    Our scholarships reward students for academic excellence, extracurricular achievements, and community service. Scholarships may cover partial or full school fees, depending on the student's needs and eligibility.

  2. Fee Waivers
    For families facing sudden financial hardships, we offer fee waivers to reduce or completely cover school fees. This option is ideal for short-term assistance when immediate support is needed.

  3. Payment Plans
    Our flexible payment plans allow families to pay school fees over time, alleviating the burden of lump-sum payments and making budgeting easier.

  4. Emergency Assistance

How to Apply

  2. Step 2: Schedule a Meeting with Our Aid Advisor
    After submitting your application, you’ll have the opportunity to meet with an aid advisor who can help tailor an aid package to your unique circumstances.

  3. Step 3: Receive Your Aid Decision
    We aim to provide aid decisions within 2-10 working days of receiving all documentation. Approved applicants will receive detailed information on their aid package and how to proceed with enrollment.

  4. Step 4: Accept Your Aid Offer
    Once approved, review and accept your aid offer. From there, our finance office will work with you to manage payments or apply scholarships directly to your account.
